Romo-mania: QB's Five TD's Lead Cowboys Over Bucs

The Rom-mania continues.

"Each week he's getting better and obviously it shows that the team is getting better," said Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens.

The young Cowboys quarterback continues to make his case for landing the starting job. Against Tampa Bay, Romo threw five touchdowns, the most by a Cowboy since Troy Aikman threw four in 1999 and only the ninth time it has happened in club history.

"A couple of those, I could have thrown to score," Coach Bill Parcells joked.

"I wouldn't go that far," Romo later laughed. "No, there were some easy ones."

Romo was 22 of 29, passing for 306 yards. Several times during the game, fans began chanting "Romo," some even adding his name to the Cowboys Ring of Honor.

"Someone pointed that out to me during the game," Romo said of the sign. "That was pretty funny but that's an injustice to those guys. Every single one of them had an incredible career and that's something you aspire to."

With the win over Tampa Bay, the Cowboys sit at the top of the NFC East heap.

"I think my teams confidence is a little greater," Parcells said.`

The Cowboys also have their first three game winning streak of the season and whether the team likes it or not, most of the credit is going to Romo.

"We've got a ways to go, so put the annointing oil away," Parcells said.

"I don't know what credit I deserve. We have a great football team that is allowing me to do some good," Romo said.

"It's Romomentum," Terrell Owens said.
