Changes Made To Burger King Classic Lineup

The 9th annual Burger King Classic basketball tournament is set to tip off Friday and Saturday at UT-Tyler's Patriot Center.  18 teams will play in 14 games, including UT-Tyler's mens and womens teams for the first time this year.  The tournament, organized by the Tyler Area Basketball Officials, raises money for scholarships for East Texas student athletes.  Last year's event raised more than $10,000.

With several schools still involved in high school football playoffs, the tournament schedule has been changed.  Here is the new schedule.  Changes are in bold type.

Friday

10:00 a.m. -    Martin's Mill vs. Van

11:30 a.m. -   Whitehouse vs. Southwood

1:00 p.m. -   Arp vs. Chapel Hill

2:30 p.m. -   John Tyler vs. Mt. Pleasant

5:00 p.m. -   T.K. Gorman vs. Woden

6:30 p.m. -   Robert E. Lee vs. Dallas Skyline

8:00 p.m. -   All Saints vs. Lindale

Saturday

8:30 a.m. -   Chapel Hill vs. T.K. Gorman

10:00 a.m. -   Robert E. Lee vs. Whitehouse

11:30 a.m. -   Woden vs. Martin's Mill

2:00 p.m. -   UT-Tyler Women vs. Schreiner

4:00 p.m. -   UT-Tyler Men vs. Schreiner

6:30 p.m. -   John Tyler vs. Dallas Skyline

8:00 p.m. -   Lindale vs. Arp
