Five Teenagers Arrested For Breaking Into Two Homes

The Smith County Sheriff's Department arrested five Robert E. Lee High School students for allegedly breaking into two homes.   It happened early Monday morning at a home on Gallion Circle and Cityview Drive in Smith County.   The sheriff's department says because one home is under construction, the teenagers were able to walk right in, but the teenagers then forced their way into another home. When they did, authorities say the homeowner woke up and chased them out.   The sheriff's department used the homeowners description to find the teenagers. All five teenagers have been charged with two counts of burglary of habitation and engaging in criminal activity.
