Golf Legend Langer Teaches Tricks Of The Trade In Tyler

A champion visited East Texas to teach a few tricks of the trade: two-time Master's Champion and hall of fame golfer Bernhard Langer

Bernhard held a clinic Saturday afternoon at The Cascades Golf Club in Tyler. He was in East Texas to support the Pine Cove Men's Golf Classic and Retreat.

Bernhard won the Master's in 1985 and 1993. He became a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2001.

Bernhard said after so much career success he wanted to share how religion impacted his life with others.

"I share my testimony, my Christian testimony," he said. "I talk about my life as a golfer on tour and how my faith in God impacted my life and hopefully to reach and encourage other people and hopefully reach young believers."
