How to make inexpensive centerpieces, artwork and rearrange your furniture... some East Texans got some decorating tips today, from one of the stars of Trading Spaces, Frank Bielec.  Frank was at the Junior League of Tyler's Mistletoe and Magic.

"I want so bad to learn how to rearrange my bathroom. It's the most awful room in the house, it needs a redo," says Rose Marie Pittman, waiting to meet Frank.

"I am here to see Frank," says Debra Williams.

More than 60 people came to get decorating tips from Frank.  His first topic, paint color and rearranging furniture.

"Arranging furniture, most of the time people buy too much furniture.  They don't need that much furniture and the furniture that people buy is usually trendy. I think furniture is for seating.  I think the people are the finally accessories in a room," says Frank Bielec, Trading Spaces.

Frank also showed them how to make inexpensive centerpieces.  He also put some audience members to work, they made their own artwork.

"Some people don't want art, what they want is something to take up space on the wall," says Frank.

He hopes people will walk away empowered to make their homes fit their needs.

"I am more concerned about them decorating around their lifestyle, their budget and their family considerations," says Frank.

Frank has been on Trading Spaces for 7 years. You can see Frank makeover homes on the Discovery Home Channel.

Ghost stories and haunted houses have long been a popular past time, but just how much truth is there to the legends? "As Shakespeare said there are more things in heaven and earth then are in your books,” says Big Foot Expert Jeff Hurley. “There are things we don't understand." At the April 21, Paranormal Conference, experts in the subject came together to further explore their theories.
