Candy Sushi
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
1 (16-ounce) package miniature marshmallows
5 to 6 cups crisp rice cereal
14 to 16 fruit roll-ups 8 strawberry or licorice Twizzlers
Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Add the marshmallows and cook until the marshmallows are melted and the mixture is smooth, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat and add the cereal 2 cups at a time until reaching the desired consistency, mixing gently after each addition. Unroll the fruit roll-ups on waxed paper. Cut the Twizzlers to the length of a roll-up. Place a few spoonfuls of the cereal mixture onto each roll-up. Press a Twizzler into the cereal mixture. Roll to enclose the cereal, pressing the Twizzler so that it remains in the center to resemble a sushi roll. Cut the candy sushi into slices using a sharp knife that has been dipped in warm water. Arrange the slices on a serving platter or tray.
Yield: about 96 pieces
