PATH's Coats For Kids Drive

Almost 3,000 coats have been collected for PATH's annual Coats for Kids Drive.   Saturday morning, volunteers sorted through the coats and got them ready to distribute to the community.

PATH says any child 18 and under in Smith County that needs a coat is welcome to stop by. From infant sizes to adults sizes, PATH says they have it all.

"The community has given us a great response," said  PATH Director of Special Projects Martha Kerns. "We have 2,535 coats right now and we will pick up some more in the coming week. We had two very generous donations that allowed us to buys coats, so we have brand new ones as well."

PATH will be giving away the coats the next two Saturdays, November 11th and 18th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. You can find them at St. Paul's Cottage located next to St. Paul's United Methodist Church on Richards Street in Tyler.
