LHS Students Get Chemistry Lesson In Spookiness

It was a chemistry lesson fit for a witch and "in honor" of Halloween. Some Longview High School students looked on to see what happens when their teacher fills a cauldron with dry ice. Different stations were set up around the classroom, all involving the frozen gas, like the "dry ice hockey" station.

"It's definitely a change. It's different, but also it's a good thing because today is Halloween, it's kind of what's today's going on, you know regular everyday it's usually hands on a lot of the time, but today's a lot different because you kind of get to put it into works and kind of get to do it yourself," says LHS student Madison Mullins.

The teacher says she's been doing the dry ice lab for the past nine years.
