World's Largest Collectibles Auctioneer Pays Visit To Tyler

From coins, to books to old vases and jewelry, East Texans found out this afternoon what their valuables are worth.   Heritage Auction Gallery, the world's largest collectibles auctioneer, stopped in Tyler today. Heritage experts gave appraisals on people's items and if they liked it enough they would even buy it.

"It's a decorative watch, 14-k gold with a diamond on each side," said Jeanann Sumner, who was offered $800 dollars for her gold watch.

"We see everything from the 1700's on. We saw several 1800 coins and currencies that have come through already," said  event organizer Barry Zale.

Heritage Auctions items in a catalog and online. The group has sales of more than $550 million every year.
