Firefighters Judge Chili Cook-Off

Firefighters in Tyler had a tough decision to make Friday afternoon.   They had to choose which chili was the tastiest.
Atria Willow Park retirement home held its fourth annual chili cook-off.
Each of the department heads cooked up their favorite chili recipe. The only rule to the contest was that the recipe be kept secret. Residents had a chance to get in on the fun and try some of it.
"Every year it's been a different winner and we've had a lot of competitive spirit throughout all this, but more than anything it's just a chance to get together and have a lot of fun," said Atria Willow Park life director Christine Bennett.
The judges said they were looking for texture and flavor. First place went to executive director Harold Vincent.
