Family Fears Whereabouts of Missing Jacksonville Woman

A 26 year old Jacksonville woman is missing, and police need your help finding her.

Shunte Coleman was reported missing on August 7th after she didn't show up for an appointment with her grandmother.

Coleman lead a somewhat transient lifestyle, which police say makes tracking her down rather difficult. Detective Tonya Sonntag says they have not ruled out the possibility of foul play.

"You know, we're hoping that we end up finding her. That's [foul play] is a possibility.  Especially with her not calling anyone, but we're still searching every angle," says Sonntag.

Coleman's grandmother, Margaret Anderson says, "I'm wondering what really happened to Shunte. I would like to know, and I'm seeking an answer. Whether it's positive or negative, I'd like to know what happened to her."

If you have any information, please call the Jacksonville Police Department.
