The Search Continues For Missing Brownsboro Woman

Another search Tuesday morning for a missing Brownsboro woman, this one with special dogs. Twenty-three year-old Brandi Wells was last seen August 2, leaving a Longview nightclub. Two weeks ago, dozens of volunteers searched throughout the area, looking for clues.

Tuesday morning, the search continued with "cadaver dogs" brought in from the Shreveport Fire Department. They sniffed through a heavily wooded area in South Longview, miles from where her car was found along Interstate 20.

Sergeant Shaun Pendleton with the Longview Police Department says, "Unfortunately the longer time that goes by that she's not found, the more likelihood there is that foul play is involved...we just decided we might as well bring in cadaver dogs just in case."

Officials told us the dogs were used because volunteers weren't able to search through the thick brush in the area.
