Pet Parade Through East Texas School

We all know dogs are man's best friend, but when it comes to kids, their special pal could be anything from a snake to a pony.

That's why today, the Kids' Kaleidascope Preschool hosted their annual Pet Fair.

It's a time when parents bring their child's pet to the school, so they can meet all of their child's classmates. A miniature horse was the most unusual animal, but the dogs got lots of attention, too. There were also birds, frogs, and even a snake on hand for the children to play with.

The school has had the Pet Fair for the last 15 years. They say it creates a good connection between home and school, and gives the kids a chance to thank God for all his creatures.
