7 Questions With Tekkerein Cuba

It is 7-on-7 KLTV style.
Each Wednesday night throughout football season, we will put a local high school athlete through our gauntlet of questions. It is simply called "7 Questions."

For our very first, inaugural run we put Robert E. Lee star defensive back Tekkerein Cuba to the test. With a fumble recovery for a touchdown against Dallas Kimball on Friday he definitely had the hot hand but could he handle our hot seat with "7 Questions."

If you could play for either Texas or Texas A&M, which one would you choose?
Tekkerein: Texas A&M because I like the style of their defense. I like the program that they got there.

Country music or rap music?
Tekkerein: Rap music because to me rap music like pumps me up for the game and stuff.

Who would be the best rapper on the team?
Tekkerein: "Red." Chris Ekwuruke. He's like a local rap artist around here. A lot of people buy his music.

Do you have any pregame superstitions?
Tekkerein: None, nope. No ma'am.

Describe coach Mike Owens in one word or one sentence.
Tekkerein: Coach Owens is just a great guy on and off the field, he just makes people laugh most of the time. Most people like him.

Favorite KLTV 7 Sports Anchor, Maya (Golden) or Kevin (Berns)?
Tekkerein: Maya, because she's cute.

Terrell Owens or Randy Moss?
Tekkerein: Terrell Owens because he's a big impact whatever team he goes to. He can go across the middle, he can go deep.
