Sports Spotter Report: Lindale Eagles

The Eagles went into the game at Wills Point looking to prove the skill and speed of their team by going for a big win against their low-ranked opponent.

The Eagles were able to do just that by beating the Tigers 42-7.

Wide receiver Seth Bauman had a huge game, scoring two passing touchdowns and running back a Tiger fumble for another six points.

The Eagle coaches also proved the usefulness of their unusual no-huddle offense, keeping the Tiger defense on their toes all night.

The Eagles are hoping to maintain their two-game winning streak by beating Van for their Homecoming game. However, the Vandals are coming into the game looking for revenge after Lindale knocked them out of the playoffs in the first round last year 34-15.

The Eagles defense will have to be at their best if they want to shut down Vandal running back Jermie Calhoun who scored four touchdowns against Grand Saline in their first game.

The Game is set for this Friday, September 15, at Lindale stadium.
