Spring Hill RB Not Through Yet

It looked like deja vu for Spring Hill running back DiMikel Shankle.  He had just spent almost an entire year rehabilitating his left knee, which he blew out in week three last season.  He was finally healthy and ready to play football again for his senior season.  Then, the unthinkable happened Friday night in Lindale.  In the Panthers season opener, Shankle sustained another knee injury, this time to his right knee.  It looked as if another season was lost.  But, today, Shankle received some promising news.  Head coach Robert Bero says Shankle will miss just three weeks.  Shankle is expected to rehab the knee for three weeks, then strap on a knee brace and return to action.
