Longview Man Robbed At Gunpoint

A convenience store owner is robbed at gunpoint, then chases after the robber. Longview police say the owner and his wife were closing the Quick Food Mart on Eastman road last night, when the robber approached them.

Store owner Mohammed Khan says the robber took a lock box with money, and fled on foot. That's when Mr. Khan started chasing after him. The chase ended when the robber was picked up in a nearby car and sped away.

Longview police say the car the robber jumped into was a red Ford Crown Victoria. The robber is described as a black male, around 5'8" tall, clean shaven with short hair. He was also wearing glasses, a white T-shirt, and dark colored pants.
