Jury Can't Make A Final Decision In Murder Trial

A delay in the capital murder trial of a man accused of killing an East Texas teen. Twenty-year old Terry Eugene Landry could face the death penalty if convicted. He is the fourth and final person  accused of the 2005 kidnapping and killing of 17- year old Joshua Petrea.

Two teens pled guilty earlier this year and another was found convicted, now serving a life sentence.

Jury deliberation will continue at least one more day.  Jurors passed a note to the judge, saying two of them could not make a final decision today. They asked to be dismissed for the day and the judge granted that request.

This after a full day of deliberation, more than six hours. What's interesting about that is the jury deliberation in the murder trial of Daniel Massie, one of the other teen's convicted in the case, took less than an hour.

The jury will reconvene tomorrow morning at 9am.
