Whitehouse Mother Says Sending Child Home Was Wrong

Whitehouse mom Cyndi Beck says Whitehouse High School administrators went too far, saying her daughter's outfit on the first day of school was inappropriate. Beck took a picture of what her daughter was wearing that day. She says the tops she had on were not revealing. Beck even showed the high school's principal, Tony Black, her daughter's outfit but says the conversation went no where. "[The principal said] 'we can bring a t-shirt and put it on her and she can go to class like that.' I was like 'No we will not put a t-shirt on her because she's dressed appropriate.' [Black]said, 'Well Ms. Beck we cannot let her in then.'," says Beck recalling what was discussed. KLTV 7spoke with a Whitehouse ISD administrator, Richard Peacock, who says the high school is being more strict enforcing the dress code. He says campus administration has the final say. Beck says she has filed a grievance.
