Former Lion Johnson To Play With Kilgore Rangers

On Friday Kilgore College was mugging for the cameras at media day, with a familiar face in the mix.

Former John Tyler defensive lineman Adrian Johnson is wearing a Rangers uniform.

Adrian was Baylor bound, but circumstances led him to double-sign with the Rangers.

"I had a few school problems and a few home problems," Adrian said. "It all worked out for the best. I still double signed with Baylor and Kilgore. So hopefully when I finish with Kilgore I'll go to Baylor and continue my football career there."

The Kilgore Rangers will open the season at home against Butler. The game is August 26th at 7 pm.
