In the Kitchen: Blue Bell Ice Cream Recipes

Cookie Delight

1          homemade or store bought chocolate chip cookies

½         gallon Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla

This is a very kid-friendly recipe.  You can make your own ice cream sandwich!  For each sandwich, use two cookies and enough slightly softened ice cream to fill about a half-inch space in between the cookies.   Serve immediately or wrap in plastic wrap and store in the freezer until ready to serve.  You can do a variety of cookie and ice cream combinations such as: sugar cookies with Strawberries & Homemade Vanilla; oatmeal cookie with Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough; or graham crackers with Banana Split Ice Cream.

Cantaloupe ‘n Cream Ice Cream Pie

1          9" prepared graham cracker crust

½         gallon Cantaloupe ‘n Cream Ice Cream

1          small carton Cool Whip

1          Fresh Cantaloupe

Soften Blue Bell Ice Cream.  Once softened, gently pour into pie crust.  Place pie in freezer for 4 hours or until firm.  Cube or slice cantaloupe.  Garnish with whipped topping and fresh cantaloupe.

Birthday Cake Parfait

Chocolate Cake or Brownie(s)

½         gallon Blue Bell Birthday Cake Ice Cream

1          container Hershey's Chocolate Syrup

Layer crumbled cake or brownie in a parfait glass followed by a small amount of chocolate syrup.  Next add a scoop of Birthday Cake Ice Cream.  Layer again in the same order.  Garnish with chocolate syrup and sprinkles.
