Camp News: Parcells Tired Of T.O. Questions

It's all T.O., all the time at Cowboys training camp in Oxnard, California. The problem is, all the talk has been off the field, because of his hamstring injury.

Looking at the camp headlines for the day, Bill Parcells is giving Owens the "benefit of the doubt" when it comes to the injury, and doesn't have a problem with him bringing in his own trainers.

Parcells also said, there's a 50-50 chance backup quarterback Tony Romo could get the start Saturday against Seattle.

And, linebacker Rocky Boiman is out, after breaking his thumb while blocking a punt yesterday at practice. He could be out for about 10 days.

How long T.O. will be out is still a question mark and Parcells fuse seems to be growing shorter, but not necessarily with T.O. himself.   As the days stretch longer with T.O. sidelined with a sore hamstring, so do the questions about his health. And you can tell by his tone, Parcells is getting tired of it.

"I'm trying to integrate this player into the system," said Parcells, "and right now, we can't really proceed exactly the way we'd like to proceed. When we can, then I will try to do it that way."

Parcells insists Owens' injury isn't a problem, and won't be for several more weeks. He says the only problem here is the media's obsession with the injury.

"I'm getting a sense that most of the media is just waiting for something to be controversial in that regard," said Parcells, "and I'm here to tell you, it's not going to happen from me. So you need to get that in your head."

It's been Pro Day after Pro Day across the country the past two weeks, and today it was Stephen F. I thought we had some excellent work on the bench press, Anthony Pullins knocked it out of the gym. We had some guys really jump well, run well, and then of course catch and throw well. I think its safe to say Jameis Winston likes to hang out with East Texas talent. The Tampa Bay quarterback was in Lufkin Wednesday night with former teammate Jorvorskie Lane to help the former Lufkin star talk with kids and support his "Lane of Hope" foundation. But, earlier Wednesday, a picture surfaced on social media of Winston working out with Adrian Peterson in Houston at a training facility.
