A series of car vandalisms in an East Texas neighborhood has police asking for help. In the past week, Tyler police have responded to three incidences of vandalism on South Sneed Avenue in Tyler. The latest incident happened early Tuesday morning around 3:00 a.m. Police say a group of people jumped on top of three cars and smashed in the hoods. One car even had the front windshield broken into. Those that live in the neighborhood say this is the first time anything like this has happened.
"I was upset, really upset," said Jim Cox, victim. "I'm sure that it's going to be a lot of money to fix the car. Probably won't leave it in the street anymore. It will be in the driveway from now on." Police say to always park your cars in your driveway or garage if possible. Also, leave an exterior light on.
If you have any information on who is reponsible call Tyler police.
