PATH Collects School Supplies For Area Schools

Some East Texas students will start their school year off on the right foot, thanks to the help of PATH.   For nearly 20 years, PATH has been holding the School Supply Train to collect new supplies for elementary and middle school children. This year, PATH decided to collect for high school students as well. Today, local schools picked up the donated supplies.

"The students at Hogg Middle School are very appreciative to our community and to PATH for the school supplies," said Diane Everhart, Hogg Middle School Nurse. "We have a large number of students who are in need of school supplies. That way when they come to school they will have everything they need and they will be prepared for class."   PATH says they were able to supply 57 Smith County schools with supplies this year.
