103 Year Old Man Gets His Wish Granted

Granting wishes, that's what one East Texas organization called the Hope Foundation did today.  It was their first wish to grant, and it went to an East Texas man.

103 year old Jack Aldridge is a long time Texas Ranger baseball fan. So, he was given a Texas Ranger hat, jersey and tickets to the game next week.   Jack and two of his friends will go to the game and watch it in air conditioned box seats.  Jack will also be recognized at the Texas Rangers game on August 10th.

"I just like to go see them play. I use to go see them once or twice a month," says Jack Aldridge.

"We feel like elderly people are forgotten.  They paved the way for our generation and we want to give back," says Shea Taucher, Executive Director for Hope Foundation.

The Hope Foundation is founded by the owners of Legacy Hospice. They grant wishes to anyone over 85- years old or anyone 65 or older with a terminal disease.
