A show of gratitude from an 11-year-old girl, helped by a local non-profit in her time of need. Keegan Fowler presented the East Texas Crisis Center with a giant flip flop laced with $200.
Several years ago, the center helped Keegan and her mother escape an abusive relationship, so Keegan wanted to do something for them.
She raised the money by selling flip flops, any way she could, including on-line. But her plans don't stop there. "My next product is... as I've been doing this, I've started a book about how kids can make a difference in their community," said Keegan.
Sales have been going so well, she has an employee to keep up with out of state orders.
