GJ Kinne Verbally Commits To Baylor

It is pretty rare that a high school players college plans are specifically broadcast on television, but that was just the case with 3A quarterback G.J. Kinne.

He has made his plans and let the South know.

Sunday night on Fox Sports Network Southwest, Kinne announced he will play college ball for Baylor. Kinne is touted as one of the states top quarterbacks. Last spring, he transferred to Gilmer High School from Canton.

The quarterback is currently featured on the cover of Texas Football.

High school football fans will remember G.J. is the son of former Canton coach Gary Joe Kinne who was gun shot in the Canton field house one year ago. Coach Kinne is now the linebacker coach at Baylor.
