Mary Dodgen's blood alcohol content was nearly double the legal limit. That's according to Austin authorities who arrested the Tyler woman for allegedly driving drunk and hitting five pedestrians. The 61-year-old faces three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and two counts of intoxicated assault with a vehicle. A jury coordinator for Smith County, police say Dodgen's speech was slurred and she had to lean against the car to maintain her balance. Two of the pedestrians hit are still in the hospital. One has been upgraded to serious condition, the other is still critical.
