Renaissance fun at the Four Winds Faire is back in East Texas. As always, the fair includes musical entertainment, food and games. The fair also has various artists and vendors. Organizers say the fair truly brings you back in time.
"What it was truly like," said Four Winds Faire General Manager Keith Waddoups. "You've got wooden swords and things like that, but we will be having knights fighting in full armor and authentic weapons, so it's a historical reenactment in other words, an educational program all throughout the grounds."
The Four Winds Faire continues tomorrow from 2:00 p.m to 10:00 p.m. The faire grounds are located on Highway 110 South, about 11 miles South of Tyler. Tickets are $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for children five to 12, and children under four are free.
