Suspect In DPS Trooper Shooting Appears In Court

One of the men charged with shooting a DPS Trooper in Tyler in March pleaded guilty to a different charge in Federal Court. Yesterday, Ramon Ramos pleaded guilty to being a criminal alien in the U.S. after deportation. That charge carries a maximum 20 year sentence.

Ramos is now in federal custody. He's facing state charges for the shooting.
