Tyler's Tornado Sirens Now Working

Two of Tyler's 30 Emergency Warning Sirens are reportedly back up and running. Earlier this month, tests found problems with the sirens on North Northeast Loop 323 and the siren on West Shaw Street.   The Tyler Police Department tests the sirens the first Tuesday of every month, unless their is severe weather. Tyler police say they notified Tele-Touch, a company that repairs the sirens, immediately after the testing.
