7 Longview area restaurants were giving top marks in the latest round of inspections by the Longview Health Department. Topping the list was Deb's Downtown Cafe at 103 West Tyler street. Inspected May 26th, it was found to be spotlessly clean with no violations. They scored a perfect "A".
Several other restaurants did not have perfect marks but did score A's. One minor violation was found at Jacks Natural Foods at 1614 Judson Road, inspected June 15th. All foods were at proper temperatures and clean workspaces were found.
Jacks Natural Foods at 400 East Loop 281 also had just one violation. Inspected June 13th, food prep areas were clean and all foods at proper temperatures.
Only one minor violation was found in a June 14th inspection of the Kids Station restaurant at 301 North Standard street. Work spaces were clean and all foods at proper temperatures.
Jucy's Hamburgers at 816 west Marshall Avenue had 2 violations in a June 8th inspection. Foods were properly stored and protected and clean work spaces were found.
Inspected May 30th, only 2 violations were found at Bodacious Bar-B-Que at 1402 West Marshall avenue. All work spaces were clean and all foods properly stored and protected.
And Whataburger at 1204 Alpine had only two minor violations in a June 15th inspection. All foods were at proper temperatures and clean work spaces were found. All reports are provided by the Longview Environmental Health Department.
