2 Suspects Arrested, Accused Of Shooting Out Car Windows

Tyler Police arrest 2 juveniles they say shot at several vehicles and residences with BB guns. In the past month, there have been numerous incidences of BB gun vandalism in South Tyler.

Police say the 15 and 16 year old are responsible for damaging 41 cars and two houses in the Irish Meadows subdivision and on Rhones Quarter Road. The vandalism occurred at the end of May. Those living in the neighborhood have been taking extra precautions to protect their property, and they are glad the two suspects have been caught.

Andy Ginn was one of the victims.

He says, "I figured it was just a matter of time. When you're young and you're getting that many people, somebody's going to know. You're going to mess around and tell the wrong person, who's going to tell the wrong person. I figured it would happen eventually, and I'm glad that it did."

The teens live in South Tyler and attend Whitehouse schools. They have been charged with criminal mischief, a state jail felony.  An insurance agent told us they could try and recover deductibles from the suspects and their families.
