Mavs Fall Flat, Heat Tie Series

MIAMI (AP) _ The NBA Finals are turning into a dogfight, after all. The Miami Heat, who rallied from 13 points down in the fourth quarter to win Game Three, led from start to finish in dominating Dallas in Game Four, 98-74, to even the series at two games each.

Once again, Dwyane Wade played huge for the Heat. Coming off a 42-point effort last time out, Wade shrugged off a knee injury suffered Tuesday and led Miami with 36 points. Wade made 13 of 23 shots and also grabbed six rebounds.

Shaquille O'Neal added 17 points and 13 rebounds. Miami held Dallas to just seven points in the fourth quarter in a dominating defensive performance.

Jason Terry led the Mavericks with 17 points. Dirk Nowitzki had 16 points but made just two of 14 shots. Dallas shot just 31.6 % from the field.

The Heat improved to 10-1 in the playoffs at home. Game Five is Sunday night, also in Miami.
