For the third time in less than a month, a South Tyler neighborhood is vandalized with BB guns. On Monday night, windows were shot out of houses on Garden Park Circle, that's in the Copeland Woods neighborhood of Tyler. Police say the vandals caused about $2,500 in damage to the home. Two cars and a nearby business were also hit. Joe Rosenbaun noticed his window was shot at after his neighbor told him her window had been hit.
"It's normally a very quiet area, and you wouldn't expect something like this to happen," said Rosenbaun. "They ought to realize what they are doing. They are damaging people's property, which is really bad." In May, vandals targeted several cars in the Irish Meadows and Greenwood Village neighborhoods in South Tyler. Police say the incidents may be connected.
