Beating The Heat: Mavericks Take Game 2

In Game One of the NBA Finals, the Mavericks got off to a slow start, not really kicking it into overdrive until the second half.

Game Two, different story.

The Mavericks took to the court and at one point took at 26 point lead over their Eastern opponents the Miami Heat.

To end the first half Jerry Stackhouse hit back to back threes. The Mavericks went on an 11-0 run at the end of the first half to lead 50 to 34.

In the second half, the Mavericks put the icing on the cake.  The big win in Big D, 99-85. Dallas takes the 2-0 series lead on the road to the title.   It's off to Miami at the American Airlines Arena for Game Three.

That game can be seen Tuesday, another 8 p.m. tip on KLTV 7.
