Pat Gallagher had flown twenty-two bombing missons before his nineteenth birthday. As a tail gunner on a B-17 bomber during World War Two, Gallagher was constantly in danger. On one flight alone, the crew counted 170 holes in their plane when they returned to base. Pat Gallagher feels he's lucky to have had the opportunity to serve his country and also to return and live here. We are lucky to have men like Pat Gallagher willing to fight for our freedom.
