PATH Teams Up With Home Depot To Build Playground

An East Texas neighborhood is one step closer to getting a brand new playground, thanks to PATH, People Attempting To Help.  Last Saturday, we told you about PATHS's Backyard Park in North Tyler. Today, more than 25 volunteers from Home Depot, along with PATH, put the playground together in a neighborhood that has never had a park before.

"Basically, we got some volunteers and donated some of the materials," said Home Depot Human Resources Manager Leon Roy. "They did the mulch and stuff, but we got the volunteers and the man power, so far I say it's going pretty good."

Next week, PATH's Backyard will have its grand opening.
