Longview Hospital Hosts Treats For Troops

A little something from home for our troops overseas, was the focus of a volunteer drive in Longview.   In honor of national military appreciation month, workers at Good Shepherd medical center are bringing in treats for troops.  Care packages of eye drops, wet wipes, batteries, and snacks will be going out to 100 male and female soldiers.  This is the 4th year the hospital has done the package drive. Workers say the little packages let the troops know they are remembered and appreciated.

If you'd like to donate items, you can drop them off Thursday at Good Shepherd's customer service center. They will be taking donations from 8a-m to 5p-m. The packages will be shipped out at the end of the month.
