CPSC Recalls Schwinn Deluxe Bicycle Carriers

The Consumer Product Safety Commission and manufacturer, P.T.I. Sports Inc. have recalled about 14,000 Schwinn deluxe bicycle child carriers.

They warn if the seat is not fully on the rack, the plastic tabs on the carrier can break. This may cause the seat to fall off. So far, there have been five reports of seats falling, and three minor injuries. This carrier was sold at department stores nationwide from September 2004 through November 2005.
