Letourneau President Announces Resignation

Letourneau university president Dr Alvin "Bud" Austin, announced today that he will resign his position after 21 years on the job. At 64 , Austin made his announcement today to allow the school's board of trustees a full year to search for his replacement.
  "We're celebrating our 60th anniversary so we've got a full agenda of touring the country to alumni groups I'll be rigorously involved in that and I wanted to prepare the university in spirit as well as financially to pass the process on to someone else" said Austin.
  Austin will officially leave office in July of 2007.
