Harmony Hires New Football Coach/AD

Harmony is set to enter a new era in football. The school board tonight approved the hiring of Spring Hill offensive coordinator Shane Wilson.

"Getting my first head football coach and athletic director job is something I've been looking forward to for a long time," Wilson said. "Harmony has always been a place I wanted to try."

Wilson was an assistant coach at Harmony under Jed Whitaker during the 1990 and 1991 seasons. He replaces Stony Coffman, who was 11-9 the last two seasons. Wilson says he hasn't met with the coaches or players yet, but he knows several of the coaches very well. He plans to meet with the players next Monday, when he officially begins his new job.

Don't shoot the messenger, argue with Jason Stark. The ESPN reporter released a reason for each MLB team on Tuesday explaining why they won't win the World Series. You might argue with Stark, but his point is pretty valid when it comes to the Rangers.
