Ballistics Test In On Gladewater Case

Federal investigators are now looking into details of a Gladewater police officer's fatal shooting of a suspect. This after a ballistics report raises some questions. The Dallas Morning News reports that ballistics report shows five shots were fired from behind the vehicle that Jonathan King was driving. Gladewater officer Bryan Naismith claimed he was almost "run over" by King.

Naismith was not indicted by an Upshur county grand jury, and Texas Rangers found no criminal action on his part. Naismith remains on administrative leave from the department.
