East Texas Marine Returns Home

It will be a special Easter holiday for one East Texas family as they welcome home a U.S. Marine. Corporal Blake McGee, 21 is home after serving seven months in Iraq.

This was McGee's second deployment to Iraq, and a much more dangerous one. McGee was injured three different times and received a purple heart. McGee says he's excited to be home. "I'm excited to see my family and friends, just Tyler in general," said Corporal McGee. "This is where I was born and raised. I love this town. This is a big part of me that will never go away. This is home for me."

McGee will be home for a month before returning to Camp Pendelton. He says he will be deployed one more time and would go back to Iraq if asked to.
