Longview Restaurants With A Poor Inspection Report

      Five Longview area restaurants were singled out for the most serious violations in the latest round of inspections by the health department, including the "Butcher Shop" at 102 Lehigh. 9 violations were found in a march 14th inspection. Hot and cold foods were held at dangerous temperatures and food contacts surfaces were not properly cleaned. They scored a C.

    10 violations were found in a March 7th inspection of "Cantons" at 2010 east Marshall. Stored foods were not properly protected, cold foods were at unsafe temperatures and food prep areas were not cleaned. They scored a C.

    Inspected march 9th, "Dairy Queen" at 3815 Marshall had 8 violations. Hot and cold foods were held at unsafe temperatures, and there were general cleanliness violations. They scored a C.

    "Catfish King" at 1700 Judson road had 7 violations in a march 14th inspection. Moldy cutting boards were found, cold foods at unsafe temperatures and hygienic violations among employees, they scored a B.

     And 7 violations were found at "New Ways" restaurant at 4306 west Marshall. Inspected march 15th , stored foods were not protected, ready to eat foods were improperly handled and hot foods were at unsafe temperatures. They scored a B.
