A Catholic church in Tyler has fallen victim to burglars.
The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception was burglarized some time on Saturday. Some of the items taken were the bishop's chair and the processional cross.
The church says they are items that have great sentimental value.
Monsignor Joseph Strickland, Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception said, "The best I can imagine is that it's someone disturbed and struggling.
That would take these kinds of items, obviously with a lot of significant value as far as faith images; but not a lot of material value."
