The Dallas Cowboys announced their 2006 preseason schedule today. The four-game schedule is highlighted by an ESPN Monday Night Football appearance against New Orleans in Shreveport, La. With training camp in Oxnard, California again this year, the Cowboys will travel up the West Coast to open the preseason against the defending NFC Champion Seattle Seahawks the weekend of Aug. 11-13. The following week, the team will travel to Shreveport to face the New Orleans Saints on ESPN's Monday Night Football on Aug. 21. The Cowboys return to Dallas to close out the preseason with back-to-back home games against San Francisco (weekend of Aug. 25-27) and Minnesota (Aug. 31-Sept. 1). ESPN will televise the Cowboys game against New Orleans, the other three games will be broadcast by Blue Star Media in the five-state region of Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico and Oklahoma. Exact dates and times for all preseason games will be announced at a later time.
