Trinity Valley Loses Heartbreaker In National Quarterfinals

The Trinity Valley Lady Cards came up short in their quest for a sixth national championship tonight, losing to Chipola Junior College 85-80.  There were nine lead changes in the first half, but the second half belonged to the Lady Indians, as they led wire to wire.  Trinity Valley was able to pull within four late in the game, but leading scorer Simone Cooks fouled around the two minute mark, and the comeback came up short.  The Lady Cards finish the season with a 31-2 record.  Both of those losses came at the hands of Chipola.
