It's back to business for an East Texas camp, damaged in a weekend fire. On Saturday, an administration building at Sky Ranch was struck by lighting, and burned to the ground.
However, Monday the camp was continuing as normal. Bus after bus pulled in, full of hundreds of eager campers. Officials say the loss of that building will not impact the kids or the operation of the camp.
"The building burned totally but we will have the opportunity to rebuild it so I would like to thank the community, the local fire departments it could have been a hole different story without their help." Joe Boylen, CEO of Sky Ranch.
Sky Ranch does have insurance. Boylen says they were planning on remodeling the administration area in a the next few years and now they will be planning for a new facility.
