Five Arrested After Texas College Disturbance

Many questions follow a large disturbance Tuesday night at a gym at Texas College just before 9 p.m.

Police say fights broke out amidst a crowd of up to 300 people. Young children were present.

Officers used non-lethal weapons -- pepper powder and pepper spray, and police say there were no serious injuries.  Five people were arrested, accused of crimes from assault on a public servant to participating in a riot.

23-year old Chadrian LeAndrew Foreman has the most charges facing him, from felony retaliation to participation in a riot.

19-year old Justo Jesus Hernandez faces charges including retaliation and evading arrest.

21-year-old DeShawnda Necole Smith was charged with disorderly conduct.

19-year-old Mearland Shane Jackson is charged with felony assault and resisting arrest.

Her sister, 25-year-old Kaleisa Nicole Jackson is accused of resisting arrest and interfering with a public servant.
